ChainCatcher news, the Monero P2P trading platform LocalMonero announced that it will cease operations. All new registrations and ad postings are disabled, new trades will be disabled starting from May 14, 2024, and the website will be shut down on November 7, 2024.

LocalMonero stated: "After nearly 7 years of operation, we have made the difficult decision to close the platform due to a combination of internal and external factors."
